Danescroft Equestrian hosts the 2026 Young Horse Development Day on 13th June in Lisburn, Co Down — dedicated to showcasing Ireland’s future eventing talent
With 4, 5, and 6/7-year-old Young Event Horse classes alongside Novice and Open sections, the day combines dressage, showjumping, cross-country style fences, and in-hand assessment to provide a complete evaluation of each horse’s ability and potential. Offering substantial prize funds thanks to Funding from HSI and our extremely dedicated sponsors. It delivers a polished, progressive platform for breeders, producers, and riders alike.

Compete in Dressage, Showjumping or Cross-Country, or take on our Combined Training (dressage & showjumping); you may also choose to compete in our Three-Phase event. Pick your test and the jump height you want for the Combined Training and Three-Phase. Entry fees: Single phase - £15.00; Combined Training - £25.00; Three-Phase - £35.00.
